Letter from Church of North India

As the Youth of a Young Church we feel so proud to say that we are born CNI, the Synodical Youth Fellowship Committee of the Church of North India Synod have strengthen the Diocesan Youth of almost all the Dioceses of the Church of North India through various activities and also through participating in interdenominational programmes, We are seeing an upsurge of Knowledge and knowledge ware, and so the fact cannot be denied that today’s youth need to be connected to the technology and also to the flood of knowledge. There is growth in the corporate sector and the business world, and our youths cannot be left out of the main stream, at this hour, our pursuit should be to build a competitive edge amongst our youth and on the other end we have to have integrity of our hearts and also be connected to our God and the Father.
AIMS

1. To visit the DYFC as it has become a need to empower the youth.

2. To strengthen DYFC and form where it does not exist.

3. Theological Programme and encourage the youth for Career in Theology and Church Mission

4. To facilitate other sections like Children’s and Women’s.

5. To have our own Youth Constitution.

6. To challenge the youth to be missionaries.

7. To encourage the DYFC to send more girls to participate in the programmes.

LONG TERM PLAN

A) To make the youth movement of Church of North India sustainable and self reliant.

B) To motivate youth for Theological Studies as well as other professional courses.

SHORT TERM PLAN

A) To create a website for CNI youth.

B) To register all the youth (individuals) in the Church, Diocese and Synod. of the Church of North India.

C) To develop the youth to be potential leaders of the Church.

D) Spiritual revival of young people in the country, dioceses and Churches.

E) To help in strengthening the Missionary movement of the Church of North India.
THE HURDLES

A) Financial resources.

B) Less participation of girls due to parental restrictions.

FOUTHCOMMING PROGRAMMES

1. Leadership Development Programme.

2. To train 1000 youth per year about Church of North India’s Mission Priorities.

3. Career counselling programme for 200 youth.

4. Gender Justice Programme.
This is a special time as everyone should know, it means living another year, another year to grow. Today being a special time for each to then reflect, on the past and on the present and what the future might expect. This is a precious occasion for everyone to start anew, setting goals and working together in unity to make each and every dream come true.
