Afghan believer imprisoned

Subject: Please Pray
Date: Fri, 19 Nov 2010

This is an urgent request for you to pray for a brother Said Musa who has been physically, sexually and emotionally abused and imprisoned for his
faith. His trial is scheduled to begin this Sunday Nov. 21st. He has no legal representation. His story has now gone to the media. Please check the
website for World Magazine worldmag.com and see the article "Deeds Done in the Dark".  http://www.worldmag.com/articles/17288

A local Afghan man is being held without charges for converting his faith.
Several people are involved in trying to seek his release.
He has an amputated leg, so he already has limitations.
He has a wife and six children.
We have been made aware of his desperate situation.
He continues to be mistreated and abused.
The police are willing to release him if he will sign a written document renouncing his faith which he is not willing to do.
It has been proven in other cases that increasing the international awareness can put pressure on the government to release the individual who
is being held without charges.
Thank you for making this a matter of prayer and your attention.
