News from United Mission to Nepal

Tuesday November 23rd
Letter from Mark Galpin, Executive Director of UMN

Dear Supporting Partners,

It is possible that you may hear on the news that this afternoon we had 2 small explosive devices left outside our gate at UMN in Thapathali. It appears according to the police that this was left by the Nepal Defence Army (NDA), a group who were behind the catholic church bombing 2.5 years ago who have been fairly inactive since then. There make up was clearly to make a loud noise rather than to result in damage to people or property. No one was injured in the incident. Thank you for your prayers for UMN and the Christians in Nepal at this time.

Yours sincerely,

Mark

  1. It seems a symbolical expression, they want Government's attention.

Nepali Christians are with or without the democracy a growing community. And UMN of course a Power House of our faith.
