MCN sends worker to Tibetan border
Co-Mission Partner Ram Prasad writes:
"Karma L. comes from a Tibetan Buddhist back ground. After training with Missions Commission to Nepal he has gone back to Sankhuwasabha in the Himalayan region of Nepal nears the border of Tibet/China where he is working among the Tibetan People group. Due to the snow fall people of this region move to lowland areas for 6 months of the year. Most people are dependent on cattle and agriculture. Life is very hard in this region. The people have been slowly responding to the good news and recently a son and daughter in-law of local Lama have come to faith and a fellowship group has begun.
Christians seldom visit the Tibetan areas due to difficulties in traveling. A person like Karma is the key person that God has placed in this region to witness to Christ because he speaks the language and knows the land and culture."
Please pray for Karma's protection and fruitfulness in ministry.
