The Revd. Marc Bilimoria wries:
The Revd Bhaskar Onawale of Pune, India entered a fuller life in Christ on 2nd May. His mortal remains were laid to rest in the Hadapsar Christian Cemetery following a Service of Remembrance and Thanksgiving that celebrated his life and ministry held at St. Mary's Church (CNI) on May 4th. The mammoth crowd present at both the service and the internment was a testimony to his life of love and service to all communities through his 43 years of ministry as a Presbyter of the Church of North India, as a founder of the charitable trust Deep Griha Society and through his involvement with nearly 40 other institutions and organizations including the Christa Prema Seva Ashram (founded by Jack Winslow) and the Society of St. Mary the Virgin (founded by the Wantage Sisters).
